I have...........................Many times.
In fact the best thing for me about birthdays are the cards, there is something quite uplifting receiving a card that someone has taken the time to not only write but then walk to a post box and send it to you. I am a huge fan of sending cards and will grab any opportunity to do so even if its just one that says "I'm thinking of you" sometimes that's all that is needed to make a difference to someone's day.
So, you can imagine my utter excitement when I was contacted by the rather fabulous and totally gorgeous people at CardNest.
Here's what they said......................
"Subscribers to CardNest are topped up each month with three ‘bright and beautiful cards for all sorts of occasions’. The idea is that when a birthday creeps up on you or you have a last minute ‘thank you’ to send, you can dig into your CardNest collection, leaving you fluster-free.
Sending a handwritten card to someone we care about can really make their day. As well as those handy greetings, they also send out cards that aren’t occasion specific to help you keep in touch with the extra special people in your life. Whether you want to just say ‘hello’, tell a loved one you miss them or invite them for the weekend, it’s up to you."
I discovered that not only is it a brand spanking new service its wonderful too.
How do I know this ? Well, I have been a bit of a Guinea Pig for them and already received my first delivery. When the gorgeous parcel dropped through my letter box I was not expecting such a beautifully packaged bundle, I couldn't wait to open it and what I found inside was even more fabulous.
Three stunning cards by different artists with envelopes and as if that wasn't enough they even provided the stamps. They were so lovely I almost didn't want to open them but I did and knew exactly who I was going to send them too.
As many of you know I am a great believer in good honest companies and will only give reviews to those that really impress me. CardNest did just that as well as bringing a smile to my face on a bleary Monday morning.
Are you curious ? I bet you are, go on over to their website at CardNest.com and have a look for yourselves.
I really don't think you will be disappointed and as a special treat CardNest are offering all my lovely readers an exclusive coupon code which will give you lucky people 50% off your first month......................................You see, they really are fab.
Just put in this code when subscribing - GODDESS40 (This code will expire on 30/11/2014)
Lots of Love

It’s just £7.50/month in the UK and £10/month for subscribers outside of the UK, including delivery (first class stamps are an optional extra and available in the UK only).
I am receiving these too, lovely aren't they! x
ReplyDeleteThey really are aren't they and such lovely people to deal with too xx
DeleteThis looks like a really nice idea, I love sending cards x
ReplyDeleteMe too, its something I have always done ever since I was a child xx
DeleteThere's a lot of reward that we get from sending and receiving a card - it's lovely to surprise someone! :)
DeleteI love cards, but we made the decision last year to only send home made ones
ReplyDeleteMe too Jen, I make all my own cards too but thought this was such a great idea in supporting new artists that I couldn't pass it up. I think receiving the cards each month is almost as exciting as sending them x
DeleteLove homemade cards! The more personal, the better! :)
DeleteOoooh what a great idea!! The amount of times Ive had to dash out last minute to get someone a card (cos Im unorganised and a bit crap like that!!) xx
ReplyDeleteAh thank you - it's amazing how birthdays creep up on us!
DeleteI think the main thing about card companies like this is that their cards either appeal to you or they don't. i really like the cards here, and I'm so bloody disorganised that this would be perfect for me. Off to check them out now. x
ReplyDeleteAh glad to hear you're a fan of the designs! Thanks for the lovely comments :)
DeleteThese are lovely! 50% off? That's brilliant! X
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely comment Sharon! 50% off the stamps too ;)
DeleteI buy a stack of cards for all sorts of occasions from my local card shop where they have some lovely cards for under £1 - this sounds like a great idea from a convenience point of view though x x
ReplyDeleteHehe as long as you're writing to loved ones and avoiding ecards, that's the aim :)
DeleteLovely carts! I love getting cards and then keep them on display for ages :D
ReplyDeleteThank you :) Ah, so you're just Bek below then, none of these unwritten rules that you should only keep up cards a certain period of time! Let 'em get dusty! ;)
DeleteI keep a stash of cards for when I forget or don't have time to make them. This is a great alternative for people who haven't got time to go out to buy them.
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right Louisa - some of our lovely subscribers have said that this would be ideal for people that find it hard to get to the shops too because of disability etc. Great to hear you're a 'stasher' too ;)
DeleteOh I love them , do like to keep some cards.x
ReplyDeleteThank you Hannah! Get the stash going! :)
DeleteWhat some gorgeous looking cards! I have to admit I have a soft sport for all stationary :) x
ReplyDeleteHehe us too Sarah-Louise! ;)
DeleteThese cards look lovely. I really like receiving cards and keep them up as long as possible when I do! x
ReplyDeleteHaha so you don't go by the unwritten rules of how long to keep cards up for then? Glad we're not the only ones ;)
DeleteI keep a stash of cards as I am always realising it is someones birthday at the last minute
ReplyDeleteIt's so easily done isn't it! Really dislike that flustered feeling when you look at the calendar and find you haven't got a card in the post for someone!
DeleteThanks ever so much for such a wonderful review! We couldn't be more thrilled! Thought you might like to hear a lovely story... we met a mum earlier this week that told us that she has started to write a card to her 2 year old daughter every month and will save them all up for her 18th birthday. She writes down stories about what her daughter has done that month, covering milestones and other memories that may be forgotten. So lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving me the opportunity to do a review and how lovely to see a company express their thanks on the actual piece. xxxx
DeleteThese look gorgeous and I love that they come with stamps too, I'm always out of them.
ReplyDeleteAh thank you! The stamps do come in very handy! No excuses now haha! ;)
DeleteThis is a good idea. We always make sure our stock of cards stays topped up, they really come in handy. These cards look really nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura! It's amazing how birthdays suddenly creep up on you isn't it?! It's not that we've forgotten, but life sometimes gets in the way of keeping on top of these things!
DeleteThis really is a very good idea and the cards look beautiful. That's a great discount code too.
ReplyDeleteLiska xx
Ah *blushes*. Thank you :) The discount code even applies to the stamps too!
DeleteThey are super cute aren't they! Can't wait for my next pack :) x
ReplyDeleteThank you :) You'll soon be building a bit of a nest egg of cards! x
DeleteThese cards are so different from the off the shelf ones - I get a bit tired of the same old ones - these are very refreshing!
ReplyDeleteThank you Helen! They'll certainly stand out on the mantelpiece! We're big fans of creating fun and cheerful designs :)
